The season of Advent runs for 4 weeks starting this year on Sunday 2nd December. One of the most distinctive marks of what we believe is the incarnation of God, that God became one of us, taking on human flesh. There are many stories out there about gods interacting with humankind but none have ever dared to make such an audacious claim.
As we joyfully remember Jesus’ first coming, we are stirred to be on the lookout for His return. Jesus came as a ‘suffering servant’ the first time, He will return a resplendent King. Spend a month leading up to Christmas orienteering your heart towards the King. These daily readings are designed either to be done alone, as a family or in a group context, allowing you to reflect on the greatest story of all time.
